An asset register that stays true

Most asset systems fail the same way: the data is right on day one and wrong by month three. Wealza is built around the two habits that prevent that — scanning and auditing.

Scanning

A label, a phone camera, and you are done

Every asset gets a printable QR label carrying a random, unguessable token — never a sequential number, so a lost label cannot be used to enumerate your inventory.

Scanning opens the asset straight away for anyone in your workspace, and does nothing at all for anyone else. From that screen a manager can reassign, mark for repair, or return the item in one tap.

Already own Code 128 scanners? Those work too. You do not have to buy hardware to start.

Audits

Find out what is actually still there

Start an audit scoped to a building, a floor or a category. The app freezes what the register claims, then you walk the space scanning.

At the end you get four lists: found, missing, in the wrong place, and there but never recorded. Resolve each one and the register is true again.

This is the feature that pays for the subscription. Most companies discover something on the first run.

History

Who had it, when, and in what condition

Check-outs and returns are written to an append-only ledger. The database physically prevents the same asset being issued to two people at once.

Every change to every field is recorded with the person who made it. Nothing in the history can be edited or deleted after the fact.

When an insurer, an auditor or a departing employee raises a question, the answer is already on the record.

Flexibility

Track vans and laptops properly in one system

Each category defines its own fields. Laptops get RAM, processor and operating system. Vehicles get registration, mileage and MOT date. Tools get calibration dates.

Fields can be text, numbers, money, dates, dropdowns, yes/no, links, or references to a person or location — and you can mark any of them required.

Retiring a field archives it rather than deleting it, so historical records stay readable.

Upkeep

Stop finding out after the warranty lapsed

Set service intervals per asset or per category. Get told before something is due, not after it failed.

Log repairs with cost, supplier and downtime, so you can see which equipment is quietly costing more than it is worth.

Warranty and licence expiry dates surface on the dashboard while there is still time to act.

Finance

A register your accountant will accept

Straight-line and declining-balance depreciation, calculated from purchase date, cost and useful life.

See current book value by category, department or location, and export the whole register to CSV or Excel whenever you need it.

Purchase orders, suppliers and invoices attach to the asset, so the paperwork lives with the thing it describes.

See it with your own data

Import your spreadsheet and have a working register in minutes.
